About the mill

A one-product mill, run on purpose.

We chose to do one thing well: grey cotton fabric for bed sheets, woven, checked, and measured under one roof.

Why only grey fabric, for now

Rather than spread across dyed, printed, or specialty fabrics from the start, we've kept the mill's output to one line — grey cotton fabric destined for bed sheets. It lets every machine setting, every check, and every measurement on the floor stay tuned to a single output, instead of switching between different fabric types.

As the mill grows, that scope may widen. Today, it's the whole business.

Cotton, start to finish

The fabric is a cotton-based textile throughout — the yarn on both the warp and the weft is cotton. We don't blend in synthetic fibre. What leaves the mill is grey, meaning it hasn't been bleached, dyed, or otherwise finished; that stage is left to whoever takes the fabric on next.

Weaving, sizing, checking, measuring

  • Weaving — done in-house, on rapier looms.
  • Sizing — the warp yarn is sized by a third-party sizing service before it comes to us; we don't run sizing in-house at this stage.
  • Fabric check / QC — a dedicated team inspects woven fabric for faults before approval.
  • Fabric measurement — every roll is measured as part of the same check, ahead of dispatch.
Walk through the process

Chowala Industrial Area, Narsingdi

The mill operates from the Chowala Industrial Area in Narsingdi — a district with a long-standing base of textile and weaving units. Being located here keeps us close to yarn suppliers and the third-party sizing service we currently work with.
